The Bourbon Crusaders charitable organization has been putting on an annual event for several years now. As the event has grown so has the venue, the one-of-a-kind bourbon and whiskey items up for auction and most importantly the money raised for the years featured charity. In the case of 2023, this year’s proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association.
UPDATE: View all silent and live auction items here. Anyone can bid online for the silent auction items while the live auction items require you to be in attendance at the event on November 18, 2023. There are still a few tickets remaining.
The 2023 event will feature unique tastings of bourbon unavailable anywhere as well as silent and live auctions of exclusive private barrel selection experiences, rare and vintage spirits, and an opportunity to meet legendary distillers. If you are interested in attending check out the tickets soon because there are not many left and this event typically sells out.
Here is a glimpse of just some of the items that were up for auction last year including vintage spirits, impossible to find bottles from private collections, behind the scenes distillery tours, and even private barrel picks from the likes of Old Forester Distillery (new for 2023), Wilderness Trail Distillery or Willett Distillery. A full list of 2023 auction items will be posted soon.

All proceeds will go directly to the American Heart Association to assist in their efforts with CPR, medical innovation, research, education, and other full mission initiatives dedicated to saving and improving lives.
“This generous support will not only help individuals here in our community but will benefit efforts to improve the wellbeing of everyone, everywhere,” said Ashley Sokoler, Executive Director of the American Heart Association in Kentuckiana and Western Kentucky. “Together, we’re making a difference and paving the way for a healthier future where every heartbeat counts.”
The Bourbon Crusaders are the premier partner for bourbon-focused fundraising, sponsoring an annual event and taking lead roles with the Kentucky Distillers’ Association in The Kentucky Bourbon Benefit to support Kentucky’s 2021 Western Kentucky Tornado Relief efforts and 2022 Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief efforts. The Bourbon Crusaders helped raise $3.4 million for tornado victims in Western Kentucky nearly $1.5 million for victims of flooding in Eastern Kentucky.
As 2023s featured partner you can expect many never-before-seen items up for auction from Woodford Reserve Distillery and Old Forester Distillery.
