It may have taken a while for Angel’s Envy Distillery to complete its first distillery in 2016 but now that they are cranking out all that bourbon and rye whiskey they need somewhere to store all those aging barrels.
According to a report by WDRB, Angel’s Envy and its parent company Bacardi are planning on acquiring 354 acres in Henry County, Kentucky, about 40 miles East from their Whiskey Row distillery in downtown Louisville.
Plans call for building five barrel warehouses to store up to 225,000 gallons of whiskey. If everything is approved, the proposal also includes the construction of a new distillery and visitor experience to be built over the next five years. More details are in the video below.
