An all new pairing – the art of ballet and the art and craftsmanship of bourbon are coming together for an evening of dance, food and spirits. The Kentucky Ballet Theater, Chef Jonathan Lundy and Maker’s Mark are coming together for an outdoor evening of Kentucky ballet, Kentucky food and Kentucky bourbon. A real treat for all your senses. Maker’s Mark has been run by the Samuels’ family for generations. Throughout the generations they have been committed to the arts, and are excited to host this performance at the distillery May 9th. 2015.

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception on the terrace before winding down the hill for the main event, nestled between two Maker’s Mark aging warehouses. Then guests will sit for an amazing four course meal paired with four unique performances. The four course dinner of southern cuisine from Chef Jonathan Lundy’s menu will feature season specialties along with some of his classic dishes: a popped sorghum salad, Maker’s 46 Salmon, leg of lamb and a dessert tasting trio of butterscotch brulee, mini chocolate pot pies, and doughnut bread pudding balls. The four unique performances from the Kentucky Ballet Theater’s professional company dancers led by Artistic Director, Norbe Risco, will include several short classical, neo-classical and contemporary ballet works.

The evening will be a truly memorable experience for all, bringing together many of Kentucky’s great talents for one unforgettable event. Reservations are required and tickets are very limited. Must be 21 years of age or older to attend this event. You can purchase tickets here.
