MGP is continuing on its strategic decision to get into the retail side of the distilled spirits industry with the launch of a new Vodka. Till American Wheat Vodka is launching with a limited release starting in Kansas and Missouri. In 2015 MGP launched its own whiskey brand with the introduction of Metze’s Select Limited Edition Indiana Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
MGP is well known in the spirits industry for supplying all tiers of the beverage alcohol market including large multinationals, bottlers and rectifiers and smaller craft distilleries. In 2015 MGP made several noteworthy moves in the industry.
- MGP joined the Distilled Spirits Council of the United Stated – DISCUS becoming only its 15th full voting member along with companies like Beam Suntory, Brown-Forman, Diageo, Pernod Ricard and Bacardi. You can see a complete of DISCUS voting members here.
- MGP launched its own limited edition bourbon – Metze’s Select Limited Edition Indiana Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
- To meet the growing demand for brown spirits, MGP invested $16.4 million to double its whiskey barrel storage capacity in Lawrenceburg, IN.
- Factoid: MGP is the largest U.S. producer of distilled gin.

MGP President and CEO Gus Griffin says, “Till Vodka is a brand that represents timeless and aspirational values, which are tied to the region that embodies them. Till captures the hard work and passion of the people involved in making it, and reflects the pride they take in doing their best.”
MGP says their new Vodka is distilled using the finest Kansas wheat in Atchison, KS. Till Vodka is bottled at 40% alcohol by volume, with a suggested retail price of $24.99 for a 750ml bottle.
