Michter’s Distillery located on Whiskey Row in Louisville, Kentucky has released its first barrel strength rye whiskey in two years.

“Our team has been turning out some wonderful Kentucky style ryes over the years, and this 2021 release continues that trend,” said Michter’s President Joseph J. Magliocco.
Regarding this first release since April 2019 Master Distiller Dan McKee commented, “I was really happy when we tasted these barrels. This release has so much of what I look for in a rye.”

Currently all types of Michter’s are being allocated because demand exceeds supply.
Michter’s US*1 Barrel Strength Rye March 2021 single barrel release is bottled at 110.3 proof (55.2% ABV) and sells with a suggested retail price of $100 for a 750ml bottle. Michter’s Barrel Strength Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey will available on a national and international basis this March.
