Hotel Tango Distillery is the nation’s first combat-disabled, veteran-owned distillery. The distillery was founded by Travis Barnes, a three-time combat Recon Marine war veteran, and his wife, Hilary. Using the NATO phonetic alphabet, “Hotel” and “Tango” is derived from the first names of founders Hilary and Travis. Hotel Tango Distillery’s flagship location is in Indianapolis, Indiana (right off I-65) with additional tasting rooms in Fort Wayne and Zionsville.
The company was born not only out of our founders’ passion for distilling, but also their desire to create a space (and a brand) that’s welcoming to all comers who want to have a good time while enjoying high-quality spirits. The Hotel Tango Tasting Room is our flagship location in Indianapolis, found in the historic Fletcher Place neighborhood. Housed in a revitalized carriage house, our Tasting Room is what we like to call “Eclectic Americana”— from the cement and barrel stave bars, to our industrial commissary, to our stone fireplace. We offer a seasonal rotating cocktail menu, utilizing the talents of our bartenders and Flavor Innovation Team to create seasonal craft cocktails. Each cocktail includes simple syrups, bitters or tonics handmade by our team and might even have produce grown at Hotel Tango Farm.

Hotel Tango Fort Wayne has a laid back vibe befitting of its locale. This tasting room is versatile in use and pays homage to our military background with each branch being represented in art, and an honor wall for community members and employees who have served. We host a variety of events and offer several private rooms for smaller meetings.

Hotel Tango Zionsville is a lively craft cocktail lounge for spirit lovers. This location has an industrial vibe, but still pays homage to our military background with each branch being represented in art, an honor wall for community members that have served, and a wall honoring our very own Hotel Tango service members.
The Foxhole – 670 Virginia Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203
The Foxhole is an intimate events space, conveniently located next door to the Hotel Tango Tasting Room in Indianapolis. With an elaborate brick fireplace The Foxhole can comfortably accommodate 80-110 guests. Visitors can enjoy Hotel Tango cocktails and local catering in this secluded space for corporate and/or social events.
