In Lankford’s new role, she will manage Dant Crossing’s operations, spirits distribution, and more, overseeing the hospitality, marketing, and sales departments.
“Mary Margo has played a major role in the growth of Log Still Distillery and Dant Crossing since day one,” President/Distiller Wally Dant said. “We are lucky to have her leadership and vision as we prepare for even bigger things in 2022 and beyond.”

Additionally, several new amenities will open at Dant Crossing in the coming months, including a wedding and events venue, The Legacy, a farm-to-table restaurant, and a number of new lodging options.
“2022 will be a big year for us,” Lankford said. “I’m grateful to work with Wally and an innovative team that not only dreams big but works hard to bring it all to life.”
In addition to her role with Dant Crossing and Log Still Distillery, Lankford continues to operate as a partner of the law firm Rudy Winstead Turner, PLLC. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and political science, and received her juris doctor degree from Belmont University College of Law.
