We’re starting a new series here on The B-Line Buzz called ‘Meet a Mixologist’. We’ll take you on a digital tour of all The B-Line stops that serve cocktails to get a glimpse of how we “find our sipping point” here on our little corner of the bourbon trail.
Meet Chief Mixologist Morgan Earley of Second Sight Spirits
Second Sight Spirits is located near the Ohio River in Ludlow, Kentucky. If you have never been you need to put Second Sight Spirits on your bourbon bucket list. They offer a one-of-a-kind mix of local color, old-time theatrics, fortunetelling fun, and hand-crafted everything. This artisanal distillery and recently expanded bar is a must-see stop on The B-Line.
Chief Mixologist Morgan Earley shines in her role behind the bar like the enchanting crystal ball lamps dotting the tables in Second Sight’s spacious bar. Her enthusiasm and obvious love of what she does shows in all the details of her mixology. From the thoughtful and tasty recipes she creates, to the fact that she even grows some of the ingredients used in her concoctions.

Morgan also values Second Sight’s commitment to local flavor and building community. Although this unique distillery draws visitors from all over the world, their foundation is firmly set in Northern Kentucky, specifically the small city of Ludlow, just across the river from Cincinnati, Ohio. One glance at the local events they host and participate in, from weekly live music to readings by a local medium, to Ludlow’s Craft Fair, and Pirate Day, shows that Second Sight is not only a distillery loaded with charm, they’re also the kind of spot where you can truly experience the benefits of “drinking local.”
We can’t wait to taste the new featured drinks as the year rolls by.
Cheers,
Dot Crane for The B-Line
