The University of Kentucky started their Distillation, Wine, and Brewing Studies (DWBS) certificate in 2015. In 2019 the program got a $5 million shot of support by the states distilled spirits industry and is now in the process of building a fully operational, hands-on distillery on campus. Watch the video as Vendome Copper & Brass Works air lifts the still using an 80 ton crane to drop it in as smooth as a pour of fine whiskey.
